Brands Lab International (BLI) is a real estate branding company founded in Miami, with offices in London, Munich and Lisbon. BLI works with luxury labels like Diesel, Mercedes-Benz, Poliform, Martha Stewart and Salvador Dali to bring their design aesthetic and expertise to real estate developments around the world.

Our brief was to create a new brand identity for BLI that would position it as a trustworthy, professional and elegant service provider across geographic markets. Hangar was also commissioned to build a new website to communicate BLI’s sophisticated brand vision.


Inspired by architectural photography, we created custom typography for BLI’s logotype, referencing building structures to convey a sense of substance and strength. A custom brand pattern reflects contemporary architectural shapes, while a restrained colour palette allows BLI’s projects and portfolio to take centre stage.


The outcome of this project is a beautiful brand identity that translates across print and web channels. Presented alongside brands like Mercedes and Diesel, and recently featured on Forbes, BLI’s brand identity needed to stand out alongside other luxury labels. And it does.

Modern architecture as a visual inspiration

The shapes found in modern architecture informed BLI’s visual identity — from hard-edged angular concrete structures that were translated into the logotype to flowing and organic lines that are present in the rest of the visual identity.

From the first attempt to establish contact I got a fast, effective, professional and friendly response.
