For the fourth consecutive year, Hangar was commissioned to build on the success of our 2018 marketing campaign to increase brand loyalty and sales in a competitive, rapidly expanding gin market. How do you top the success of the 2018 gin boom? By stirring creativity all over Malta.
In this localised campaign for a global FMCG brand, we combined billboard advertising, digital marketing, influencer and experiential marketing to create an immersive, cross-channel experience. Inspired by travelling art shows, Stir Creativity events popped up across Malta to showcase how an island can be a canvas for creativity.
Hangar’s designers each put their own spin on a series of five original artworks, used to promote and decorate venues from Crust Bistro to 1926 Beach Club. Guests were invited to stir their creativity while watching live painting sessions by local artists and musical performances by Malta’s hottest acts.
We reinforced engagement, buzz and recall by inviting guests to customise their own gin glasses and create colourful cocktails at a Bombay Sapphire Pick n Mix bar. Finally, Maltese model and brand ambassador Jacqui Losco added an element of localisation to brand images and event videos.
Stir Creativity events provided Maltese consumers with a sensory, Instagrammable and memorable brand experience befitting Bombay Sapphire: the crown in the new world of gin.
